WP5 Costs of droughts
Cost assessment of droughts will be assessed, which will involve identifying the best practice methods, theoretical and practical knowledge gaps and research needs. In particular, the research aims to identify a complete set of approaches to assessing the social-economic impact of droughts in terms of theoretical basis, statistical assumptions, disciplinary integration, definition of drought employed, and specific indicators used.
