WP9 Synthesis & recommendations

The aim of this work package is to show how the different hazard communities can learn from each other and additionally to identify and prioritise research gaps in order to give recommendations for further research, related to the end-users needs. To achieve this aim, first of all, a synthesis team meeting will be held after the last hazard workshop, in which the synthesis topics will be identified based on the WP-reports and hazard workshops. Based on these recommendations we will develop a) in which way the different hazard communities can learn from each other with regard to methods applied, terminology and data used and b) what are the main research needs in view of the identified end-user needs. These recommendations will be presented and discussed with stakeholders from the different hazard communities in a final synthesis workshop. Based on this synthesis meeting the recommendations will be laid out, adjusted in a further round of team review and finally incorporated in the concluding report.
